BMS automatic testing line
BMS (Battery Management System) automatic test line is the core equipment of Li-ion battery Pack production line, which is used to carry out comprehensive automated testing of BMS hardware functions, software logic, communication protocols, safety protection, etc., to ensure that it meets automotive (e.g., ISO 26262) or energy storage standards (e.g., UL 1973).
- Information
Explain:
1. The BMS production line consists of manual appearance inspection, product program burning, insulation withstand voltage testing, FCT testing, automatic assembly of upper and lower covers, CCD inspection of connectors, and automatic material receiving;
2. The entire line adopts automatic detection and transmission methods to transport logistics;
3. Linear distribution, compact layout;
4. Reserve the entire line data and upload it to the MES system.
The core components of BMS automatic test line
1. Hardware System
(1) Electrical performance test module
High-precision analog input test
Voltage/current simulation: 0~5V (16bit DAC, ±0.1mV accuracy), analog core voltage (e.g. 16~24S series).
Temperature simulation: NTC/PTC resistance simulation (-40℃~125℃), accuracy ±0.5℃.
Load and Fault Injection
Programmable electronic load (e.g. Chroma 63200) to simulate battery charging and discharging (0~500A).
Fault injection unit (short circuit MOSFET, sensor disconnection, etc.).
(2) Communication and Function Test Module
Multi-protocol communication test
CAN/CAN FD (Vector CANoe), RS485, Ethernet (DoIP) protocol analysis.
Support Autosar CP/AP architecture BMS test.
BMS protection logic test
Over-voltage (OV), under-voltage (UV), over-current (OC) trigger threshold and response time (e.g., ≤50ms).
Active/passive equalization function test (equalization current ±200mA, voltage convergence ≤10mV).
(3) Automated mechanical system
Automated loading and unloading
Robotic arm (e.g. UR10e) or conveyor + positioning fixture, beat ≤ 30 sec/unit.
Barcode/RFID Binding
Associate BMS serial number with test data (MES system docking).
(4) Environmental testing (optional)
High and low temperature box (-40℃~85℃) to verify BMS low temperature startup and high temperature derating.
EMC test (radiated/conducted interference, compliant with CISPR 25).
2. Software System
Automation test platform
Based on LabVIEW/Python to write test scripts and support test case editing (e.g. CAPL language).
Comply with ISO 16750 (automotive electronic environment test standard).
Data analysis and traceability
Real-time display of key parameters such as SOC estimation error, temperature sampling deviation, etc.
Database storage (MySQL/InfluxDB), support SPC analysis (e.g. CPK≥1.67).
